Got a couple of newbies for this weekend’s menu.
First up is a dish inspired by (ok, stolen from) the wonderful Padella restaurant in Borough Market: A white bean bruschetta with salsa rossa. I’ve added some roasted red pepper, sage and a side of jerusalem artichokes with walnuts and a splash of truffle oil. Kind of Autumnal, but more of a final goodbye to winter.
Also new to the weekend menu is something from the last Herbivore Supper Club: Date and toffee pudding with a miso caramel sauce – a real hit on Valentines Night when I served it with a peanut butter sorbet.
And for the first time this year we have wild garlic (so goodbye winter, but hello spring) which I’ll be throwing into Cauliflower Pakoras.
